How to beat through the fire and the flames expert on guitarhero 3? - 7/30/2009 12:30:34 PM

Q:	I have guitarhero 3 and the only song I can't beat is Through The Fire and The Flames on expert. Now the thing is I can get through Herman's solo and I now can get star power in What The...?! but I'm trying to figure out when I should use it in What The...?! At the beginning or in the middle or at the end. Thanks Everyone!

The green drum head and the rest has tons of cat hair on it and it won't come off and the only drum head that won't work is the green unless you are in game play. Why does the green drum head not work?

To get rid of the cat hair I would try using a lint roller. I use it to get lint and dust off my drum set and it works fine. As for the drum pad not working you can try getting a tuner kit for the drums to fix the sensitivity. You can get it for free from RedOctane.com. It is really easy to do it yourself, all you need is a screwdriver and some glue. You will void your warranty if you open up your drum set, but if you don't feel like sending it in or waiting for that cable to come in the mail you can do it yourself like I did. I have both PS3 and Wii and I am trying to decide which I should get it for.Is there a difference between them when it comes to gameplay?Or are they both exactly the same?

Both have the same featuring songs, a common misconception people have about the wii version. The Wii Features a special "Mii Freestyle" mode that allows players to use their Miis as their characters as they improvise songs via the guitar and drum controllers or using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Q:	on RockBand 1 it let you use GuitarHero 3 guitars....so now i have GuitarHero world tour, will it let me use the stuff for it on RockBand 2 without buying the whole package?
A:	You're supposed to be able too. But we just tried the drums today and couldn't get them to work (might have been us not turning them on properly). But anyway you can use the GH guitars. Not sure the drums tho. I would just buy the Rock Band drums. You can try it....The worst that can happen is it doesn't work. I'll let you know if we try it again soon and it doesn't work.

How do you use the slider bar on GuitarHero? - 1/7/2009 3:13:45 AM

The only way I know how is to use my chin on the slider bar. Call me an idiot, but I don't get it. I have one hand on the button(s) and the other hand holding the lever. If I let go with either hand to put my finger on the slider bar, the musical note ends.

You have to wait until you are on the "slider notes," the ones that are strung together and are slightly transparent. When you get a series of them, use the slider pad by color of the notes (it works similarly to pressing the actual buttons) you don't have to strum on the slider notes. When you get a drawn out note, give the whammy bar hell, and your score will skyrocket, especially if you have a good multiplier. As far as strumming goes... I've actually seen people use their feet while the controller is on the floor. They tap the buttons from above, strum and slide their foot back and forth... it looks retarded but you do get a good score.

I played all the songs on Guitar Hero World Tour. I heard they have other songs like from Def Leppard for example, that you can some how download into the Wii. I looked on Guitar Hero Website and I see some songs that I want, but I don't know how you transfer it into the GuitarHero game. Please Help!

Either enter this cheat code to get all the songs unlocked (excluding ones you need to pay for): Blue, Blue, Red, Green, Green, Blue, Blue, Yellow Go to settings / options cant remember what its called them cheats. Or you can download songs by using Wii Points. To use Wii Points you have to go onto the Wii Shop Channel and buy some using a credit / debit card or buy one in a shop for £15 for 2000 points and redeem them on the shop channel. Or you can use the nintendo.co.uk website to get them too. To purchase songs, go to Music Store on GHWT main menu. Then go to the 2nd option down and that's a list of all the songs. Some are free but most cost 200 Wii Points. Beware with downloading a lot of songs though as they each take up about 150 blocks of memory on your Wii. You can save them to an SD card though (it asks if you want to after you've downloaded it). To play the songs, go onto quickplay and press blue to go to downloaded songs. If you are playing online, you can play downloaded songs, but only if both players have the same downloaded song :)

There are alot of songs i want to unluck, specifically Paramore Misery buisness, so how do i unluck them, and if there are any cheats how do i use them?

To get all the songs, you gotta play throught the entire Career mode on any difficulty with any instrument. It's pretty fun to do, and it does take a while, but you will get all the songs. By the way, if you do the vocals on Misery Business in the Career mode and complete the song, you'll unlock Hayley Williams as a playable character. CHEATS: Just go to the title screen and quickly input these color combinations. Hi. I would just like to know how I modify my Playstation 2 so that I can download custom songs from Guitar Hero 2. I beat all songs on expert, and I was just looking for something more challenging. If you had a link to a websiter with instructions, that would work. Thanks Josh

First of all, you will need a PS2, that is able to play burned DVD's. If you do not have a Modchip or other solution, there is no point in reading on. If your PS2 is modded, you need the Guitar Hero Explorer program. However, after too much nagging and begging, the author removed the download and it's not officially available anymore. Maybe if you google a bit. Then with this program, you replace the original Guitar Hero songs with your downloads and burn them on a new DVD Disc. Boot it into your modified PS2 and off you go.
